The origins of this historic castle date back to the year 1100 – http://www.schloss-hornberg.de.
In February 2012, the renovation works of the roof and facade of the Hotel Schloss Hornberg began.
The first phase of the refurbishment included the entire renovation of the attic, with the implementation of a sustainable and ecological insulation being of major concern. The roof was covered with characteristic tiles from the region.
The facade, covered with wooden shingles in the upper area, is of historical significance and in accordance with the elaborate and expert restoration, today it reveals its original splendor again.
